在技巧挑战赛的投篮环节，每人必须投三球，若投中就可以直接过，三球都未投中也可以进入下一环节，但保罗与文班亚马都故意瞎扔三球，抢时间直接进入下一环节。这也让他们被取消资格。
文班亚马在接受采访时表示，这个想法是他想出来的。
